What photographs should I provide when selling my motorhome?
The short answer
Daylight shots of all four sides, the cab, the full habitation area, the washroom and the bed layout, plus the odometer reading and close-ups of any damage, damp staining or cracked panels. Photographs of faults are as useful to us as photographs of the good parts.

Exterior
- Front, rear and both sides in daylight
- The roof if you can do so safely, showing rooflights and fittings
- Tyres, including any cracking or flat spots
- Any damage, cracked GRP, kerbed skirts or repaired panels
Interior and cab
- Lounge, kitchen, washroom and bed layout
- Cab, dashboard and any warning lights showing
- Odometer with the current mileage
- Damp staining, soft areas or a lifted floor
Paperwork
- V5C, with personal details covered if you prefer
- Latest MOT certificate
- Service book pages and habitation reports
Two photographs owners often forget
- The chassis or VIN plate, which confirms the base vehicle and its plated weight
- The habitation door and step area, where water ingress and wear often show first
How to send them and what happens next
Email them or send them by message once you have requested a valuation — there is no need to compress or edit them, and clear phone photographs are perfectly good enough.
Photographs help us prepare before we call, but they do not replace the inspection. Nothing is committed on either side until the motorhome has been seen.
